Final Fantasy VIII est le seul épisode de la série à posséder une chanson totalement destinée au soft. Pour ce premier pas, Squaresoft a décidé de faire appel à Faye Wong, une pop-star chinoise. Ils enregistrent deux versions (pop et orchestrale) de cette chanson d´amour que vous pouvez dors et déjà trouver dans le single nommé "Single Eyes on Me" (1999). Vous pourrez également entendre un titre de Faye Wong.
